Topic: Towards a Practical Consensus for Making AI Work for Primary Care Practices in Singapore
Speakers: To be confirmed
Synopsis:
Artificial intelligence has moved from promise to presence in Singapore's primary care landscape. National AI-enabled screening programmes are operating at population scale, with ambient scribes and agentic AI tools drafting personalised health plans in the pipeline. Yet for the practising family physician and clinic owner, urgent questions remain: Which tools genuinely reduce workload rather than add to it? What do the refreshed MOH–HSA AI in Healthcare Guidelines (AIHGle 2.0) require of my practice? And how do we adopt AI without eroding the continuity and trust that define primary care?
This half-day conference brings together family physicians, AI researchers, health-system leaders, regulators and industry innovators to translate Singapore's latest evidence and policy into practical implementation. Through keynote insights, panel debate and live demonstrations, participants will examine real-world local experience with ambient scribes and multilingual documentation tools, AI-supported chronic disease and preventive care under Healthier SG, and the governance, medico-legal and data-protection guardrails every clinic needs. Participants will leave with a practical adoption roadmap: how to evaluate vendors, pilot responsibly, and measure whether AI is truly serving doctors and patients; not just technology.
