Synopsis:

  • Sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity is the underlying cause to many metabolic conditions and prelude to frailty and falls and fracture.

    In order to truly prevent chronic diseases and promote independent living in order to extend health span, it is important to tackle the issues at its root.

    This talk will equip the attendees to be familiar with the reasons behind the importance of nutrition among the elderlies. It also helps the clinic and family physicians to start discussing and managing sarcopenia and obesity in their clinics

Abbott Strength Clinic Program:
This program will be conducted over a 3-month period across 25 participating GP clinics, with each clinic targeting an average of 20 patients.

Program Overview:

  • Three structured touchpoints, comprising CME sessions and practical workshops

  • Conducted over a 3-month period

  • Program details will be provided progressively during the CME sessions

  • A post-program evaluation will be carried out

  • Final session
